Providing creative branding solutions for brands in the marketplace by merely applying design and aesthetics approaches is no longer a formula for success for a brand. A deeper understanding of business concepts applied and integrated as part of the creative strategy results in a more holistic solution.
This 12-month Work-Study Post-Diploma programme leading to the Specialist Diploma in Branding Design is targeted primarily at local fresh Polytechnic graduates from relevant full-time design-related courses of study. It aims to equip participants with knowledge of both the strategic aspects of branding as well as the visual expressions of designing for a brand.
At the entry level, the job positions are Creative Designer1 or Graphic Designer. Upon completing the course under the Work-Study Post-Diploma programme, graduates can look forward to taking up some of the possible types of positions:
- Brand Strategist
- Senior Designer
- Branding Specialist
- Brand Designer
- Art Director
- Brand Consultant
Graduates may also look forward to wage increment and role expansion in their workplace, subject to their work performance.
